What a wonderful town. We had another sunny day. We chose to take the cruise tour, "A Walk Around Nome." The town pulled out all of the stops for us. The Westerdam was the first and largest cruise ship of the summer season. The town was prepared and even decorated their many dredge buckets with lovely flowers.

The town asked residents to help by volunteering to be tour guides. Our guide was a high school math teacher. The town historian put together the scripts for each of the town guides. Our guide added fun facts along the way and mentioned her mother planted the flowers in the buckets.
